We are excited to introduce the Instadispatch Courier Integration, designed to fully automate the shipment lifecycle — from order synchronization to real-time delivery status updates. This powerful integration eliminates manual shipment entry, enhances operational accuracy, and provides live visibility into delivery progress across the platform.
✨ New Features & Enhancements #
⚙️ 1. Core Instadispatch Configuration #
A new integration configuration module has been added to enable secure and flexible connectivity.
Key configurable parameters include:
🔹 API Base URL – Define Instadispatch API endpoints
🔹 Auth Token – Secure system-level authentication
🔹 Shipment Fetch Token – Authorized shipment retrieval
🔹 Sync Interval – Set automated background sync frequency (in minutes)
🔹 Cutoff Date – Control shipment sync start point
🏪 2. Merchant-Level Integration Control #
To support phased rollouts and courier preferences:
✅ Merchants can now enable or disable Instadispatch integration directly from their account settings. (From Backend)
🎯 This provides better operational flexibility and merchant-specific logistics management.
🔄 3. Automated Order Synchronization (Cron-Based) #
Manual shipment creation is now fully automated.
⏱️ Background sync runs every 5 minutes, enabling:
📥 Automatic fetching of new shipments from Instadispatch
📦 Instant conversion into internal platform orders
🧠 Intelligent data mapping, including:
- Instadispatch Reference → Local Tracking / Order ID
- Consignee Name & Address
- Latitude & Longitude for optimized routing
🔁 4. Real-Time Status Feedback Loop #
Two-way communication ensures shipment visibility across systems.
📤 When order statuses update in our platform, automatic notifications are pushed to Instadispatch, including:
✅ Status Type (Delivered, Out for Delivery, etc.)
📝 Delivery Remarks
📸 Multiple Proof-of-Delivery (POD) Images
✍️ Digital Recipient Signature
This ensures transparent and verifiable delivery confirmat
